Easy Tandoori chicken

Talking with one of my clients regarding his diet and the food he was eating, he simply said to me I’m having a curry tonight which is one of his favourite meals to have on a cheap day.

It’s inspired me to find an easy recipe to “Spice” up chicken, excuse the pun!

Here is the recipe…

One packet of chicken diced

250 g of natural yoghurt

One lemon

Roughly 1 inch of Ginger

One bulb of garlic

3 tablespoons of Garam masala

1 tablespoon of Turmeric

Salt and pepper

If you haven’t bought diced chicken, diced up your chicken breasts and place in a bowl.

Blend the ginger and garlic in a small food processor, if you do not have one dice the ginger and garlic.

Squeeze the lemon over the chicken and place all of the spices (Garam masala, Turmeric, salt and pepper)

Simply mix all of the ingredients until the chicken is completely covered.

Leave for 24 to 48 hours to marinade.

Place on a skewer, grill on a high heat for roughly 15 minutes

Serve with rice and a small side salad, or any other vegetables that you prefer.
